Would you want to learn how to work mosaic crochet? I’ll teach you!
Mosaic crochet is a fun crochet technique which is simple in practice, but can be used to make all kinds of complex looking patterns and projects. During the class I will teach you the basics in mosaic crochet and you will work a sample from my Havana Afghan pattern, which contains 7 different mosaic patterns.
Time: Saturday 9:00am to 12:00am, 25 April 2020
Class length: 3 hours
Number of participants: 10
Place: Near Iðnó in downtown Reykjavík. Participants will get an email with details in time before class starts.
Skill Level: This class is suitable for people who know the basics of crochet, not complete beginners. But it’s quite enough to know just how to chain up and work single crochet and double crochet stitches (US terms).
Homework Before Class: None.
Supplies to bring: Included in the class is a pdf of my Havana Afghan pattern in English. You will need to bring some yarn for you sample, you can use whichever yarn and some scraps is fine, although I do recommend using DK or thicker and it’s always easier to work with yarn that isn’t too dark. You will need at least 2 colors and it’s best if they have a good contrast.
Materials Fee: No.
