Alice Olivia Clark - Tíra: A stream of light

Tíra is an Icelandic design company that produce accessories which mix high intensity reflective thread and Icelandic wool. The radiant wool accessories are hand crafted in Iceland and intended to add the element of style to reflectors. The flowers, straps, bands, hats, shawls and reflectors are intended for those who might not otherwise wear reflective products; the company's goal is to increase visibility and safety.

During the lecture, Alice will share her journey from the time in the dark Icelandic winter of 2008, when she was driving and nearly hit someone. It was from that moment that she decided she would do everything she could to create accessories that would not only be beautiful, but keep people safe. Something she would wear. Something she would want to see on her family and others.
