This class is two distinct sessions. The first one is all about reversible cables. In the second session we will be putting together and finishing the cable square blanket with an i-cord bind off.

• Time: Friday, 9:00-12:00, 24 April 2020
  and Sunday, 9:00-13:00, 26 April 2020

• Number of participants: 10

• Class length: 3 + 4 hours, 7 hours in all

• Place: Near Iðnó in downtown Reykjavík. Participants will get an email with details in time before class starts.

• Skill Level: Advanced

• Homework Before Class: No homework before class, but some homework between the sessions.

• Supplies to bring: 60 – 80cm (24–32inch) circular needle 4mm (US6).

• Material Fee: Materials are not included but the teacher will get in touch before the class with information and suggestions for choosing yarns.

Auður Björt Skúladóttir

Alongside teaching textiles at elementary school I am working on a masters degree in textile education at the University of Iceland. I have been knitting ever since I can remember. During the last years I have designed knitting patterns and published them. I have organised a few KAL‘s and taught many workshops. I am the author of the book Lopapeysuprjón (2016), also available in English under the name Create your own Lopapeysa. What appeals to me the most is to design garments that look the same from both sides, whether it is a shawl, a hat or a cardigan. I´m Audurbjort on ravelry.
